A Hidden Treasure
Contemplated being known
With words, Let It Be!
He made creation
The skies, stars, angels, and jinn,
The world, you and me.
2
A love, pure and free,
The Love of Eternity
Scribed for you and me.
3
In dreams, I love her.
Distant is her love for me.
Sleep is all I crave
4
Your heart my pillow.
Your body is my blanket.
Everlasting rest.
5
Upon her warm breast
On a cold and wintry night,
My heart bathes in sin.
6
A leafless tree stands
Hoping for one final dance
Amidst some lush fields.
As the wind picks up,
Birds sing songs to an old friend,
But offer no hope.
7
Your love in my heart,
And your name on my tongue.
A poem is pending.
8
Fill my hungry heart;
Upon your breast, I thirst now,
To sip wet roses.
9
Through the chilly night
I held you, scared to let go.
Softness of your breasts.
The warmth of your love,
Pressed softly against mine.
Fire runs in my heart.
Though in ecstasy,
I wept like a child knowing
The dawn will come soon.
10
Your love vexed my mind;
Now memories pierce my heart,
And transfix my dreams.
11
An endless nausea-
Out my window black crow songs
Of endless sorrow.
12
They explored passions.
Nightly infidelities
Inside closed dark hearts.
Got too drunk one night,
And caused a new beginning
That came between them.
13
A nightly journey-
He climbed the Sidra Tree,
Authorized to pass.
Seventy thousand
Veils of soft light, He passed through
His One Love to see.
14
Two hands pushing me
Down to lips awaiting me,
For drops of white wine.
15
Two eyes stab at me.
Temptation is mocking me.
Nature endowed her.
16
Crow weeps from afar.
Scattered wet leaves, the wind cold.
Spring was like a dream.
17
She swallows him up.
The night appears suddenly.
The noon stars shining.
18
Between the shade of
Her two soft boughs outstretched,
I melt her cold heart.
19
Bird lights in a tree.
Silent on his noble seat
Annoying my ears.
20
Birds of destruction,
Bought and built with sin money
To kill the sinless.
21
When the heavens cry,
The earth rejoices, and laughs;
A rose may know why.
22
Hands and lips touching;
All around me, love and warmth.
My cold heart, empty.
23
The Tree that no thought
Can penetrate, sits The Throne.
There is no passing.
24
Light upon Light, He
Exists beyond thoughts and dreams.
Hidden in my heart.
25
Smoke, my sleepy eyes,
Hypnotized by red embers.
Rain tapping my roof.
This now lonely couch;
Once a scented rose garden.
Without you, withered.
